More About the Group

l

The group endeavors to draw on the communal wisdom of the members, creating a network of support over the phone and internet that reaches the corners of Montana. The group topics are left intentionally open to better meet the needs of the group. Participants are encouraged to voice their needs and issues so that they may find support and information from their peers and from the facilitator. The facilitator will post/ email pertinent articles or links as appropriate to meet the specific needs of the group. Often when one group member finds the courage to ask for help with a particular aspect of living with bipolar, themes and resonance will appear with the other group members. A sense of connection can develop despite the distance. Though you may live in community with few mental health resources, you don’t have to be alone.  There is a community of help on the phone.
